The first semester provides a robust foundation in advanced pharmaceutics, with courses such as Modern Pharmaceutical Analytical Techniques, Advanced Biopharmaceutics and Pharmacokinetics, Advanced Pharmaceutical Technology, and Drug Regulatory Affairs. The curriculum also includes Pharmaceutics Practical I, which gives students hands-on experience in formulating and analysing pharmaceuticals.
Building on the knowledge gained, the second semester delves into specialised areas such as Novel Drug Delivery Systems, Industrial Pharmacy, Research Methodology and Biostatistics, and Advanced Drug Delivery. The semester also includes Pharmaceutics Practical II for practical exposure to innovative drug delivery systems and formulation techniques.
In the third semester, students engage in Journal Club activities and begin their Dissertation Work, where they conduct in-depth research on a selected topic within pharmaceutics. This semester emphasises research and innovation, preparing students for their final research project and future careers in R&D.
The final semester is dedicated to completing the Dissertation Work, where students present their research findings. Research Seminars and Scientific Writing sessions support this comprehensive research project, equipping students with the skills necessary to contribute to the field of pharmaceutics at an advanced level.
