Scope

The Bachelor of Laws (LLB) program offers a diverse range of career opportunities, providing graduates with a strong foundation for various paths in the legal field and beyond. Many graduates pursue traditional legal roles as advocates, solicitors, or legal advisors in law firms, corporate legal departments, or NGOs. Others may aspire to become judges or magistrates, contributing significantly to the judicial system. The program also opens doors to civil services, where a legal background is highly valued, and to academia, allowing graduates to teach and conduct research in law schools. Additionally, LLB graduates can engage in policy-making, influencing legal reforms in governmental and non-governmental organizations. The corporate sector actively seeks legal experts for compliance and corporate governance roles, while specialization in areas such as intellectual property, environmental law, and human rights offers further career avenues. Furthermore, the versatile skill set acquired through the LLB program enables graduates to explore alternative careers in journalism, international relations, and consultancy, making it a valuable investment for those interested in the legal profession and related fields.
